North of Englands oldest family owned building contractor
Founded in 1860 by Thomas Manners the Company has been family owned ever since. Robert Manners, the current Managing Director, is the fourth generation to have led the firm.
In 2005 the company moved from premises it occupied since its inception, to new offices and workshops at South Church Enterprise Park, Bishop Auckland.
As the company has been in business since the 19th century, it has both the experience and maturity that make it well equipped to service the needs of the construction industry in the 21st century.
