The construction division directly employs some 70 operatives, working for a variety of clients including NHS Trust, Local Authorities, and commercial organisations.

Contracts range from high tech operating theatres to listed buildings; schools to industrial buildings; new build to refurbishment; traditional to timber framed, with values up to £3.0m, (although the majority of our contracts are much smaller).

Trades directly employed include bricklayers, joiners, plasterers and general labourers, with more specialist trades being subcontracted to our established supply chain.

We have numerous trade accreditations and are members of ‘Constructionline’.

Health and safety is of paramount importance to our company and we have an extensive training programme with each and every employee having their own individual training plan. Every employee has or is working towards CSCS registration with the company having an overall grading of ‘silver’.

Technology features highly in our organisation with computerised network systems covering estimating, project management, accounts, CAD and email, most of our larger sites are equipped with IT facilities to assist the site managers.

The construction division is more than adequately resourced to compete in today’s modern construction industry.
