Classroom of the Future, Escomb Primary School, Bishop Auckland

Designed as an environmentally friendly, self-sustaining unit, this was a timber framed building clad externally with shiplap boarding. Although an experimental building it could well be that many more will be built in the future.

We partnered this project with Wates Construction and Durham County Council and we were extremely pleased when it won a Durham County Council Environmental Award.
