The Trinity Project, Gosforth

The Trinity Church project in the Gosforth Conservation area is a unique project in the UK which brings together at least three churches from the area under one roof.

The Church, a Grade II listed building, underwent a complete refurbishment including external stonework restoration, mechanical and electrical services, and re-decoration.

Also included in the project were two extensions – created in natural complimentary stone which provide amenities for community and leisure groups in addition to offering first class conference facilities for local businesses. One extension houses a new café and welcome centre.

Our Specialist Joinery Division was heavily involved with this project creating intricate panels to the balcony and panels to cover sound systems and the organ.

This £3m project took over 18 months to complete and was designed by architect Stephen Crichton of Carlisle.

The Church officially opened in early May 2008.
